Our COVID19 Action Plan

Cleanable is currently operating to provide all Social Enterprise Property Services, commercial cleaning, gardening and building maintenance services in line with Government restrictions. As the situation evolves, we are working alongside WCIG’s COVID19 Response Team to ensure all practices and processes are within the Government’s prescribed3-step framework for a COVIDSafe Australia. Our main priority remains that our clients, customers and staff stay as safe as possible and we work to reduce the spread of the virus. 

Policies for Cleanable cleaning and gardening staff:  

  • Communication & Education: All staff are regularly reminded of the importance of physical distancing, washing their hands and staying at home if feeling unwell or awaiting a test. 

  • Distancing: We ask our team members to practice recommended physical distancing whilst on client premises.

  • Staff communication phone app: Before each shift, staff are required to communicate how they are feeling and if there has been any contact with anyone showing signs of illness. We have put measures in place to document their responses and notify management if staff are unable to work due to illness, had contact with others feeling unwell or awaiting a test result. 

  • Training: We have provided additional training to our cleaners to ensure they pay attention to common touch points, surfaces and areas that may be prone to more frequent contact. Supervisors and team leaders are undertaking additional external training on infection control run by BSCCA (Building Service Contractors Association of Australia) 

  • PPE: We require all staff to wear the appropriate protective equipment and practice frequent hand hygiene whilst on duty.  

Customer Protocols: 

We ask that you work with us to prevent the spread of illness through our team and yours by following three simple requests: 

  1. Please notify our Cleanable team if you or someone in your office is experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms 

  2. You help us practice physical distancing while our staff are on site  

  3. Please notify our Cleanable team if you or someone in your office has been in contact with anyone experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms in the last 14 days and was in contact with one of our Cleanable staff. 

Cleanable does not have the appropriate certification to perform terminal cleaning services, we are therefore unable to offer cleaning services to sites where there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19. If you have any questions  regarding any of the information in this action plan, please contact us via email at info@cleanable.com.au
